With A Palazzo On The Side

The one thing I've been trying to find this summer is a cool new pair of pants and not just any kind I'm referring to the palazzo pant. Its wide leg seems to come in every color /print imaginable and Muslimah friendly. You can also purchase a pair just about anywhere. I put three ways that I would wear palazzo pants if a pair made its way into my closet.

                                                                                          

"Shopping Is Cheaper Than A Psychiatrist"

I finally got my gift from the UPS man; my purchase from F21. I am joking about the UPS man giving me a gift, its actually a gift from my husband. I must say I am all smiles because this is my second time doing online shopping and I wasn't dissatisfied. I got two new blazers and a really nice necklace and I must say I'm in love. A Mean Sense Of Style

 Today was a very eventful day for me, I just arrived home from a long day of walking, shopping, talking and laughing on the NYC streets with my friend Danielle. Now normally after a day like this I take a shower and go to bed but I decided to shower and give you a treat before I drift off to dreamland. Now I have very few style inspirations but I decided to give you all an inside look on one of my favorites. This young woman is known for being a mean girl on the reality show The Hills, but to mean she has a mean sense of style and is always on point when it comes to fashion. YES, YES OLIVIA PALERMO. Please don't get me wrong I love Whitney Port just as much as the next girl,  but every time this girl steps out she dresses to kill (in the nicest way possible). Olivia seems to have impeccable taste when it comes to the accessories she wears, her shoes always makes a statement and her clothes are always what you wished you had in your closet. I like her even more because some of her outfits seem to be Muslimah friendly. Just to give you a look at what I'm discussing here are a couple pictures of her.

Decisions Decisions

Today my sisters and I decided that tonight we will be going to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows again for a second time; Yes it was that good. Even though I'm patiently waiting to go to the movies tonight I'm also trying to come up with outfit ideas for my lunch date with my bestie Danielle tomorrow afternoon. With that being said I took it upon myself to come up with a cute "Lunch With The Bestie Look" (I still don't know what to wear tomorrow). Hopefully I will be able to take pictures of our outing to the city tomorrow.

Draped In Scarves

I recently did a little shopping and I decided to only buy scarves, Yes ladies I am serious, I only bought scarves. Now when I purchase scarves I have a few guidelines

•  Must be a statement piece; vibrant in color and soft in texture
•  Must be comfortable, this is very important because no-one likes to keep fiddling with their Hijabs all day 

My scarf collection has grown tremendously over the past  two years, I pretty much have a scarf for every outfit. Like any covering Muslim women, we all take pride in covering and therefor have our very own favorite scarves to wear; as well as  the way we wear them. For some women its the plain black hijab or the squared colored hijab or in my case its the long vibrant colored hijab with the lace under piece. Whatever style you have the one thing that is known is that you feel beautiful wearing it inside and out.

It seems as though the new hot and must have item for the summer (I believe will also carry onto the fall season) is the CLUTCH. This must have item is every where; maybe cause I want one so badly. You can buy one at vintage stores, American Apparel, Aldo and any other store you can name and think of. I have been on my own personal hunt for one and will not stop till I "clutch one".
